Sad Day....

Today was a very bad day for me....
I had bought a 4 minipci to pci adapter in order to save pci slots to my router. This adapter is designed for specific mobos (routerboard) by mikrotik. It works fine with the configuration I mention before....but what about the single pc's?
I fought 1 week in order to make this adapter work with my linux router... I made over 100 compiles of drivers and wireless tools but with almost none result.
So, I gave up today and I replace my beloved linux with mikrotik os.
I lost my services. My web, ftp, proxy, samba, mrtg, dns server and more....
What to say..... that's life!
But, i don't give up. I will set up a second router. A LINUX ROUTER for my services
So, you will ask why I post if I will setup a linux router? Just like that. I wanted to share my grief with my friends!

I tried lots of combinations but with no result.
I have install 2 minipci card on the adapter. Only one of them was functional. The other unfortunatelly didn't function. In some combination none of them worked.
Beyond that, I also isolated pin 13 of the minipci card. That is a trik to enable radio in order for the card to associate with another. (that tip is necessary only in Linux, in Mikrotik isn't, cuase this adapter is designed for Mikrotik).
For that reason I changed my OS....unfortunatelly.
But I will not give up. I will try to setup a BSD router, cause the wireless drivers (madwifi) are designed for BSD and I hope that it may worh fine with the adapter.
Linux also use madwifi, but they are let's say "stolen" from BSD, and for that I believe that they may be more well programmed in BSD.
