Everyday when I came home from work he was there waiting for me, and weβd talk for hours, getting to know each other better each day. It wasnβt long before we grew very attached to each other, finishing each other sentences and feeling a bond from our souls. After a year I went to Italy to meet him. I remember when I first walked out of the airport arrivals area...and there he was!! Wowβ¦ I was finally seeing him face to face for the first time. He was so handsomeβ¦ I donβt think though I managed to get a complete sentence to come out of my mouth for a while I was so nervous. We spent the next 3 weeks together every moment. He took me to so many wonderful places, and showed me places very special to him that he never shared with anyone else. For 4 days we went to Tuscany and Umbria.. I canβt even count how many cities he took me to on the wayβ¦ but we stayed in Cortona 2 nights.. because we were looking for the house called βBramasoleβ from my favourite movie βUnder the Tuscan Sunβ. and we found it!! In Positano we looked for bad boy Marcelloβs house too..hehe but realized it was all trick photography and that his house was not where they portrayed it to be. We went many local places on his motorbike. One day to Ercolano..and then after climbed the Vesuviusβ¦ we went to Casserta and walked the 3+ Km walk in the spectacular gardens thereβ¦ Ancient Napoli and had authentic pizza from what he called the best two pizza places there is. Walks at night by the sea, stopping for a nice espresso on the way. It didnβt matter where we went, or what we didβ¦ we had so much fun. At night we would name our pictures taken from that day and drink Italian caffe liqueur. My last day/night there was in Rome with him. We drove there in the morning.. and spent the day walking around the city. That night we shared our last time together at our hotel. The next morning. I had to get my plane that was leaving at 10 am. He was not able to come inside the terminal with meβ¦ he said later, his feet were stuck to the groundβ¦.and I am glad he didnβtβ¦because as soon as I turned from saying good bye to himβ¦ I criedβ¦and never stopped even when landed at home in Vancouver. And the first thing I did when I got home was post many of our wonderful pictures to a website!! I left so much of me there in Italyβ¦ they were memories to cherish for a lifetimeβ¦ and we will have a close and special bond foreverβ¦ we still are closeβ¦ and talk often about our time togetherβ¦ I would never have missed it for anything in the world [COLOR=purple]
