Εjekt με Underworld και Madness
Οι μέχρι τώρα επιβεβαιωμένες πληροφορίες για το Ejekt, θέλουν τους Underworld και τους Madness να εμφανίζονται ζωντανά στο φεστιβάλ. Τα μεγάλα ονόματα της ηλεκτρονικής και ska βρετανικής σκηνής, θα βρίσκονται στη χώρα μας για μια εμφάνιση στις 16 Ιουνίου. Περισσότερες λεπτομέρειες για το Ejekt Festival δεν έχουν ανακοινωθεί ακόμα. Δεν ξέρω αν το ακούσατε αλλά η συναυλία του σαββάτου αμαυρώθηκε...
Κατά την διάρκεια που έπαιζαν οι Βeastie μπήκαν 30-40 άτομα με λοστούς και γκλόμπς και έσπειραν το πανικό....φωτιές κακό μέχρι και τον Rick Smith των Underworld τραυματίσανε! (οι οποίοι δεν πρόλαβαν να παίξουν...) Το τελευταίο κομμάτι στο festival (3MCs and 1DJ) όπου μπορείτε να ακούσετε τον Mike να λέει "We gotta make movement" Ο χώρος καταστρέφεται Αμάξια καίγοντε Χαμός... Ακούστηκε οτι μέχρι και κοριτσάκια βαράγανε στις τουαλέτες... Καλά για το θέμα ασφαλειας της διοργάνωσης ας μη μιλήσω...άφαντοι οι σεκιουριτάδες...μετά το πρώτο ντου έγιναν καπνός απο την κεντρική είσοδο και όποιος ήθελε εμπαινε και έβγαινε ελεύθερα... Στο εξωτερικό δεν το συζητάω...ρόμπα γίναμε! Αυτή είναι η ανακοίνωση των Underworld για τα γεγονότα, απο το επίσημο site τους: Heineken Ejekt Festival 2007 16th June 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: UNDERWORLD MEMBER INJURED AS GANG STORMS STADIUM. Underworld's Rick Smith, Karl Hyde, Darren Price and crew were caught up in trouble reportedly caused by anarchists at the Ejekt Festival in Athens on Saturday night (16/06/07). Underworld were scheduled to close the festival that also included Madness and The Beastie Boys. It is reported that a group of around 30 masked individuals, armed with CS-gas, iron bars and baseball bats stormed the stadium at around 11.20pm as The Beastie Boys were performing. As cars were burned and property damaged, the stadium was evacuated. Underworld's Rick Smith was one of the injured. He was hospitalised for a time in Athens, but has now returned to the UK for further treatment. Several other people including security guards were seriously hurt. ENDS. I sure hope they're okay, this is absolutely terrible and I hope the people who crashed the gates and burned the cars are put in jail for a LONG time.
