Well for some months now i was having a lot of issues with my internet connection (couldn't update anything,msn didn't working,even the shoutcast on Winamp off!)not to mention the slooooooooow brownsing speed.I had some work on that -used a proxy server of my ISP - but not all problems were solved...
Then i asked NTG to help me,came by, changed the DNS -no progress- changed it again, -no progress again- i was desperate  ... I tried to contact my ISP (Forthnet) but their helpdesk... (remove the help  )..Anyway,i searched a bit and came by this: www.techteam.gr/index.php?showtopic=97044 same problem etc,and the GODSENT solution was just a firmware update of my router LinkSyS WAG200G from 1.00.05 to 1.00.09... Did the upgrade and now all works fine;and my speed kinda increased (i have only 1Mbit atm)  Well the most simple things in life are the most hard to think...  Λοιπον μετα απο μηνες επιτελους το εφτιαξα... και για αυτό φταίει ο ΟΤΕ άντε με τη Forthnet που για να βρείς άνθρωπο να μιλήσεις στο helpesk κάνεις τάμα στην Τήνο... εγώ προχτές είδα τη νέα διαφήμιση για το Conn-x και με ενδιέφερε το πακέτο 24mbits down / 1mbit up σήμερα στις 8:45 πήρα 134: 3 φορές μόνο χτύπησε, σε 5 λεπτά είχα δώσει το αίτημα για αναβάθμιση ( είχα 4mbit down / 256kbit up ) και μου είπαν ενεργοποίηση Conn-x 24/1 σε 3 εργάσιμες... ε, κατά τις 12 και αφού είχαν περάσει 3 εργάσιμες ώρες και όχι ημέρες... όλα είχαν τελειώσει  πραγματικά πιάνω 13-14mbit πια --------------------   |
