Long distance relationships ARE difficult but worth pursuing if the person is right. They give you more time to concentrate on other than the physical aspects of a person and can be really deep and meaningful. Of course the absence of physical contact is the frustrating part of it but I found that it also increases the longing and desire for my loved one. Confidence and trust of course are essential for such relationships but then again are needed for close "conventional" relationships. So I am voting yes.
