not a MOD, it is integrated on version above 1.3.x
in ur case (2.0.x) : ACP > System Settings > View All General Settings Choose Email Set-up you can use SMTP in the choice but choose PHP Mail() which doesn't require SMTP authentication Typical settings below: Board incoming email address : webmaster@yourdomain.com Board outgoing email address : webmaster@yourdomain.com Mail Delivery Method : PHP Mail() now, check again ACP > System Settings > View All General Settings and choose Security and Privacy make sure to activate that option too to get mailswhen somebody registers: Get notified when a new user registers via email? This will send an email to the root administrator when a new user successfully registers on the board. -------------------- |
