I can't log in to msn!!!!
It shows me an error to key ports and it can't repair it... Failed to connect to the service. This could be due to improper proxy or firewall settings. Proxy settings can be accessed through Windows Live Messenger Options. i suggest you try to figure out if something has been changed in either your internet settings in control panel or withing options of MSN....

Or then again, it could be an error on their part. MSN is often tripping.

well, Jack apparently screwed the PC on hiw own
 by installing IP Hide Platinum... then we had the block by Saudi Arabian prxies ... and then this. It all ends in the way this program was used : do not play games with programs that change your proxy settings or HOST files...

okay, situation almost resolved.
I remotely connected to his end, downloaded IP Hide 3.41 Platinum and then it all worked. If there is need to uninstall this program, i have also downloaded Registry Cleaner which is necessary to remove garbage and invalid registry keys. I will not assist any longer, especially since you are on dialup and you consume so much of my time to do so. Get ADSL -------------------- c:\ When the going gets tough, the tough get going ... |
