amazing effects, nice acting by Keanu Reeves & Rachel Weisz (they make a good couple, not like they did in Chain Reaction (1996)), the atmsphere is neat... but the scenario is aimed towards catholic little children to make them say their prayers loudly...

Based on the DC/Vertigo comic book Hellblazer and written by Kevin Brodbin, Mark Bomback and Frank Capello, Constantine tells the story of irreverent supernatural detective John Constantine (Keanu Reeves), who has literally been to hell and back. When Constantine teams up with skeptical policewoman Angela Dodson (Rachel Weisz) to solve the mysterious suicide of her twin sister (also played by Weisz), their investigation takes them through the world of demons and angels that exists just beneath the landscape of contemporary Los Angeles. Caught in a catastrophic series of otherworldy events, the two become inextricably involved and seek to find their own peace at whatever cost.

John Constantine is the Exorcist who has been to hell and back, and who's soul is sentenced to hell. He has been deporting demons to get on good terms with God, yet God wants self sacrifice. After the mysterious suicide of a cops twin, Angela goes out in search of the truth. Together, Constantine and Angela battle the Demons on earth.

John Constantine (Keanu) is a world-travelling, mage-like misfit who investigates supernatural mysteries and the like, walking a thin line between evil and good. Constantine then teams up with a female police detective, Angela(Weisz), who seeks Constantine's help while investigating the suicide-like death of her twin sister...
