I am perfectly aware that for many of you this will be unimportant, since you are so fluent english speakers or simply come from another country.
Personally it makes little difference whether there is a greek option in the languages section. But ... there are people here who strongly ask for greek support in the forum... after extensive search there is NOTHING about it as far as Invision Power Board is concerned. So it is time to do something ! We expect to have 100% greek operability sometime in late August, the work is enormous ! But there is already 100% coverage in board, forum, topic view, the Portal and some features like the messenger section. It is vital to cover 100% of ALL sections because then wewill have a functional Greek language pack... Uploading it in a site like Invisionize we will get some fame after all !

does this mean that greek will be translated to english and vice versa accordin to what the user wants?

the posts remain intact
the menus can take the language scheme the user wants... just like you change the skin to suit your needs, you can now also change language ! greek menus descriptions etc and NOTHING but NOTHING is changing to the default layout which is - and will remain - english -------------------- c:\ When the going gets tough, the tough get going ... |

Hello from Greece too
 I use IPB for one year now and never found a Greek translation although I searched every possible corner of Internet  The need of a Greek version of IPB was very urgent in my site because almost all our users are Greek people. So we started to translate every piece of IPB, menu, etc. Today I found this site from invisionize.com when looking for new mods. You have done a very good work. Congratulations (It took me 1 month to translate all IPB  )See ya online folks... -------------------- |

you use the default IPB portal system, right ? because i found D2 portal heavier but better ! anyway, there are a couple MODs i would like to discuss... the popup register window one of them
