Wanna use your PS3 Guitar Hero World Tour guitar on the PC (or Guitar Hero 3)? Then this guideĘs for you!
Tutorial Instructions

Wanna use your PS3 Guitar Hero World Tour guitar on the PC (or Guitar Hero 3)? Then this guideĘs for you!

- Firstly, youĘll need to download some files!

* JoyToKey v3.79 from here | mirror 1 | mirror 2
* Download the PS3 Guitar config file here | mirror
* You need the Gibson Les Paul PS3 guitar and the game. Obviously.

- Okay, now extract the JoyToKey file and throw in the PS3 Guitar config file into the same folder where you extracted JoyToKey.
- Plug in the GuitarĘs USB connector.
- Run JoyToKey and choose PS3 guitar.
- Run Guitar Hero 3/Aerosmith for the PC. (should work for Frets on Fire)
- Go to Options > Controller > Configure Keyboard and set it up this way

Green —– 1
Red —– 2
Yellow —– 3
Blue —– 4
Orange —– 5
Star Power —– 6
Whammy —– 7
Mouse Whammy —– X-Axis
Strum Up —– Button 1
Strum Down —– Button 0

- It should work!!! ROCK NĘ ROLL!!

Notes:

- Apparently the motion sensor does not work, when you want to do Star Power. You have to press the button. Well, World TourĘs guitar has the star power button which is easier to reach!
- Whammy works perfectly!
- Pressing “Enter” when asked to key name for High Score doesnĘt seem to work either. I had to press “Backspace” on the keyboard.
