Can I recover lost text from a Microsoft Word document? - NEW!
I feel like a complete idiot, but I was trying to copy and paste about fifteen paragraphs of text from a Microsoft Word document to an email message, and somehow ended up cutting the text out of the document and then having my email program crash. The net result is that I've lost about a day's typing and really want to know if there's any way I can recover it?

How to Manually Update Eset NOD32 Offline - NEW!
Everyone is now convinced that Eset NOD32 is the best anti-virus for Windows right now, but there's only one problem with it that makes people still consider Symantec Norton AntiVirus over it: you can't simply download virus definition update files from the web and update your NOD32 locally on a PC with no internet connection. At least, it's not that easy.

Make a bootable USB device with Digiwiz MiniPE - NEW!
Does anyone know how to create a bootable USB device that when it boots the PC it will boot into Digiwiz MiniPE or any other suitable utility? This will be more apparent with high definition videos like the one I reviewed here, here and here. Desktop Icons in Windows 2008 R2 - NEW!
Hi All

I usually have the computer, recyc and user files folders on the server's desktop.

With Windows 2008, like vista you could just click add desktop icons, however i can't find this option in Windows 2008 R2. I know i can drag the icons and make shortcuts to the desktop, however these act like shortcuts. I.e. if i right click on the icon it will show the shortcuts properties instead of the computer right click options like Manage and properties.

Anyone know how to switch the icons on?

How to Change Your User Account Picture in Windows 7 - NEW!
This will show you how to choose and change your user account picture that will appear on the Windows 7 Welcome screen and Start menu to any .bmp, .dip, .rle, .gif, .jpg, or .png image that you select.

The image should only be up to 128x128 pixels in size for the best display results and to prevent it from being automatically cropped to fit the user picture display box. If it is bigger than this, just resize it. Otherwise, your image may be cut off or not centered properly.
