Warner Bros. has unleashed a whole new trailer upon us for Harry and Co.'s next onscreen adventure, "Order of the Phoenix." Check out the trailer, flipbook and all new official screengrabs from the pic, which is shaping up to be the "300" of teenage wizardry flicks.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) • Posters • News • About • Forum If you weren't already excited about "Order of the Phoenix," this new domestic trailer might just do the trick. We've got broom racing and Harry's first kiss; a line-up of familiar faces old (Robbie Coltrane, Michael Gambon, Gary Oldman, Alan Rickman, Brendan Gleeson) and new (Imelda Staunton, Helena Bonham Carter); and a handful of terrifying glimpses of the pasty-faced evil Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes). In this fifth series installment, Harry returns to another year of study at Hogwarts amid a brewing political rift -- uber-baddie Voldemort is back and threatening all sorts of evil, but the bureaucrats at the Ministry of Magic don't buy it. With all new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor assigned to rein in Dumbledore, Harry and his fellow students must train in secret for a lethal showdown of wand-waving magic. Among the trailer's highlights are peeks at a few new characters. Imelda Staunton joins the cast as new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher Dolores Umbridge, whose prim, no-nonsense agenda means trouble for Harry's rule-bending ways. Helena Bonham Carter looks alternately wretched and scorching hot as Voldemort devotee Bellatrix Lestrange. But you can see for yourself -- check out the trailer here (make sure you open the Domestic Trailer) and the flipbook here! "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" hits theaters July 13." -------------------- Tyler

Movie was entertaining
Harry Potter is my one true geekout... I just can't help but love that series. Naturally the book is 100 times better than the movie, so don't expect the movie to follow the book, but the special effects were amazing... I will have it the minute it goes on DVD -------------------- "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but whips and chains excite me."

You are absolutely right......plus, they couldn't afford to make the whole book movie......except if they did it as a mini serial for the TV.......

Which I would watch
Ya know I've heard that before... they couldn't afford it nonsense... blah... They put things in the movie, that are not in the book... if they had a better screen writer they could throw out the fillers and put more of the book. Heh, another thing is... they do do more of the book in the movie... it is just edited to hell and back... blah It's cool... that's why when you buy the DVD it has 4 hours of deleted scenes -------------------- "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but whips and chains excite me."

That's the point.......you await that as a movie will be very spectacular, according to the book......but you are getting dissapointed when you realise that the whole matter was just a good comercial trick....... ...so, your next move (if you are fan of the Harry Potter's sequel) is to buy the DVD too, hoping that in this way you'll enjoy a proper version of the book.....besides they have to sell the DVDs too....don't you think
However if they produced every single page of the book it would be a 10-hour movie without break.... -------------------- |

lol I know huh... I always say that if they followed the book completely I would watch the 10 hour movie... but I don't know if I really would... maybe over a few days... heh, then it might as well just be a mini series

...So if people really want to enjoy it .....then they should read the book (for those who haven't) and use.....their unlimited imagination ...as they wait the release of the DVD
