I have been absent for the past week, and I applogize for not working much lately on the forum. I am now back, and a staff meeting will be organised soon.

Don't worry, I love working and participating here -- I will keep on bringing new ideas !

Also, I am now creating a forum consulting group and I am looking for volonteer consultants. Would anyone -- with good English experience -- be interested in this part-time job?

Once again, sorry for this absence.

Ever heard of Starbucks Coffee? This amazing concept, making great business in the US, is now serving millions of people everyday, making their coffee on time. No need to sit down, wait for a waiter, and get a coffee; Starbucks serves it in few minutes! With more than 500 stores in the United States, and more than 1 500 stores in Europe, Starbucks is ready to give breakfast to a vast amount of the world-wide population.

For those who live in Athens, there are few Starbucks -- the Greeks are now enjoying coffee! For those who live in France, more than 20 stores are at your disposition in Paris! England has more than 500 Starbucks, and Madrid has more than 50 stores! Whether your American, Greek, English, French... you can get the same coffee anywhere in the world!

What do you think of Starbucks? Did you already taste their beverages, and snacks?

The World Bank is headquartered in Washington, DC and very well known in the world. Its goal is to loan money to poor countries, and the World Bank keeps a close eye on the use of these loans. They mainly serve the poorest areas in Africa, and Asia.

Only, these loans have ruined even more certain countries. Indeed, when a gouverment accepts these loans, he/she is obliged to cut expenses on certain public matters (health, social helps, etc.). Also, analysts and employees often go to Africa to study some countries, and usually are in the most luxurious hotels (Sheratons, Westins, etc.), and all fly on Business Class. The current World Bank headquarters is very luxurious, and all of this doesn't go to the poors.

What do you think of the World Bank? Do you think they are needed?
