If "Dorian" was the first KoL story illustrated, "Divine Dissension" was the very first Deimos all around story to be illustrated. Therefore it holds a special place in my heart, as the first bold step of a journey to the undiscovered land... (Nerd alert!! Enough with the Trekkie winks!!)

I wish to dedicate this Behind the Scenes to its illustrator, Daniel Kopalek, who put his talent and heart in this new series' first two issues. Especially in the first issue he did everything, from pencils, inks and colors, to lettering!

Concerning writing and as seen right from the start, Theoktonia in contrast to KoL, follows a more linear and less entangled path. Its purpose is to be a lighter read, one of brutality and fantasy as opposed to KoL's enigmatic narration of hints and clues.

Yet as the prologue's last page quiet clearly stated, both stories work in unison, one complimenting the other.
