Pentium 4 gets overclocked to 5GHz
And they said it couldn't be done By INQUIRER staff: ÊõñéáêÞ 05 Öåâñïõáñßïõ 2006, 13:16 A REPORT ON Japanese website Impress Watch said that a store has overclocked a Pentium 4 to over 5GHz. The chip overclocked appears to be a 631, a 3GHz chip, but needed a bit of gas cooling to make the thing leap forwards to that speed.
