Hlias I don't think that bookmakers wanted or even thought that Lordi could win. For at least 2 months now the prognostics were for Russia, Sweden, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Greece(?). I agree with Mak, that this year many kids voted and many other people liked "Lordi" because they were so different than all the other participations. I believe that if Helena Paparizou was this year too, with her song "Mambo" she could have won a very very good position! -------------------- Imagination sets the spirit free,

i still laugh with the way Lordi made a joke of a 51 year old competition ...
it is like and NBA basketball team winning a football trophy liek the Champions' League. Impossible, yet the feeling is similar -------------------- |

Most of the winners in the past have been a joke anyway! People around the world are watching the Eurovision song festival because it is so bad it is good, and also it is one day the whole of Europe unites. It looks that this year the Eurovision voters finally got the joke and played along.. I thought it was brilliant!
