Wanna use your PS3 Guitar Hero World Tour guitar on the PC (or Guitar Hero 3)? Then this guide¢s for you!
- Firstly, you¢ll need to download some files!
* JoyToKey v3.79 from here | mirror 1 | mirror 2 * Download the PS3 Guitar config file here | mirror * You need the Gibson Les Paul PS3 guitar and the game. Obviously.
- Okay, now extract the JoyToKey file and throw in the PS3 Guitar config file into the same folder where you extracted JoyToKey. - Plug in the Guitar¢s USB connector. - Run JoyToKey and choose PS3 guitar. - Run Guitar Hero 3/Aerosmith for the PC. (should work for Frets on Fire) - Go to Options > Controller > Configure Keyboard and set it up this way
Green —– 1 Red —– 2 Yellow —– 3 Blue —– 4 Orange —– 5 Star Power —– 6 Whammy —– 7 Mouse Whammy —– X-Axis Strum Up —– Button 1 Strum Down —– Button 0
- It should work!!! ROCK N¢ ROLL!!
Notes:
- Apparently the motion sensor does not work, when you want to do Star Power. You have to press the button. Well, World Tour¢s guitar has the star power button which is easier to reach! - Whammy works perfectly! - Pressing “Enter” when asked to key name for High Score doesn¢t seem to work either. I had to press “Backspace” on the keyboard. |
