This userguide explains everything a new user would like to understand about WebChess 2.0 b4 and above.

It is courtesy of Robert Taylor ( a.k.a rtaylor777 ) from Quesnel Chess Club ( Quesnel, BC, Canada ).

WebChess ( http://webchess.sourceforge.net/ ) is a PHP/MySQL application which will run with any compatible Web Server, eg Apache. The application consists entirely of PHP scripts. This is an Open Source Project and production has been minimal since 2004 ( latest stable version : v0.8.4, minor edits on v0.9.0 ).

Benjam Welker is the main coder for the latest WebChess altered version, 2.0. He is the webmaster of iohelix, providing his code for download and some other additional games ( eg PHP BattleShip ). Latest WebChess version is 2.0 b7.
