Ah, I see. Depending what options you have in Photoshop Elements there are two factors that affect the "size".
One is the number of pixels and the other is the type and level of compression. From the Album upload page: Maximum File Size per Picture 97.7 KB Maximum Picture Dimensions 600 by 600 Pixels The first thing I would do is resize them and make sure the maximum dimension is 600. For a standard proportion this will be around 400 x 600. Once you do that, check what the file size is. If larger than 97.7 check and see if you have an option for "compression level". When you do File > SaveAs > where you pick the File Type there may be a button for "Options" check and see if there is a compression setting there. I find that around 15 out of 100 compresses quite will with very little degradation. You may need to go more to get a 400x600 under 100k though, depending on the complexity of the picture. One last thing - are the files you are trying to upload of the type JPG/JPEG, PNG or GIF? If they are not, you may have trouble uploading, as lots of graphics file types do not display in a normal browser. JPG is probably the most common type for color pictures. |

Hi Guys:
I was trying to upload some images from my PC but the limit is only 256KB? I reduced the image from about 14 inches down to 3 and it was still too big. Is this something we can increase? I like uploading directly from my desktop - way easier than uploading to a photo hosting site then linking from the board. Help a brother out Sal Tom |

First at all, sorry for my english, but i hope you understand my problem
I use pando for a year or so and I never had problems. In moment I´m sending two packages and the upload stucks at 99 952 of 953 MB. Also new is, that the upload speed runs good for the first minutes when I start the computer. Then the speed goes down to 0. How can I finish the rest 1 MB???? I have to say, I´m not good in all the technical computer things Thanks |
