Norton Lite 2008 (beta), Not even released yet! Options

Symantec Corp. has been working on the new Lite version of Norton AntiVirus, featuring new vulnerability protection technology, which delivers protection where the company says many of today’s attacks occur – through applications connected to the internet.

What is it ?
Lite Edition is similar to other free antiviruses, it scan and detect some basic viruses and clean them right away.


Is it free ?
Yes, Symantec Corp. has make this antivirus specially for non-commercial users.
Even though it is not as good as other norton products, but it will protect your PC from viruses.


Why i don't see this product in Norton? Is it a scam ?
Oh no, since this Lite Edition is under beta mode, norton company is not going to release it to the public yet.
But it is safe to use.

How to use? [ no installation needed ]

1. Download the setup. You need winRAR archieve to open it. Download here and install.

2. Double click on the Antivirus RAR file and click on Norton Antivirus Lite Edition.

3. Click on Performance Virus Scan button.

4. Wait until it is done, and if it detect any suspicous virus, it will alert you.
