I recently discovered a cool site named www.hostip.info which can display info on your Geolocation based on your IP and can even produce overall site statistics in a very neat way, plotting them on the World Map...

There is a 5MB limit at the moment for the log files you can submit to their servers which is really restricting : the Apache log files of this site for March 2006 are 30MB compressed ( 420MB raw text file, yes ).

Anyway, i did a small test yesterday trying to plot the activity for only 2 days, from 2nd March 2006 to 4th March 2006...

no need to use that anymore !

after our site got accpeted by the Google analytics program, there is a daily autoupdate on statistics there which provides with GeoLocation data ! we can see even the visitor's cities each day !
