Two more additions in the Rockwave Festival
Green On Red live in 'Day One' !! (great band.....from the 80s.....i'm 2 lazy 2 post a bio  )And the Silent Disco, a really innovative festival experience, for first time in Greece. The Silent Disco Dance Parties began in 2002 from Holland and passed through all the big festivals. (as the Glastonbury, Reading, De Parade, Electric Picnic Ireland, Festival de Cannes, Toronto Street Festival) A "silent/dancing" travel, under the tunes of No Dj and Dj Od, in a separate dance stage in Terra Vibe, for both days. Using unique technology, the two Djs will create a two-channel wireless party where the music will be mixed! You just have to wear a pair of wireless earphones, select the one from the two musical channels, regulate the volume and an endless and silent dance floor....will begin! The experience is unique and incredibly fun! Not only for those who participate in the silent disco reality, but for the observers also. If you believe that the picture of …a mute dance floor is something unique then you will be astonished when you see the half crowd dancing in the music of Nirvana and the other half singing songs of Frank Sinatra! So, this is it....

11th July MAIN STAGE FRANZ FERDINAND We are very excited to be returning to Greece. It's a country with special significance for us, particularly Alex, who has Greek family. The last time we played in Athens, we had an amazing welcome from our Greek fans. We are looking forward to seeing them again. EDITORS Hello to all our Greek fans. It's taken a while for us to come and play to you but we are almost there. All the band are looking forward to coming to your marvellous country as 3/4 band members have never even been on Greek soil. Thanks for your support. GREEN ON RED To All Our Greek Friends, The original Green On Red is delighted and humbled to return to the scene of their demise nearly twenty years ago. We have always had a special feeling for the people and culture of Greece and the band is thrilled to be playing the Rockwave Festival.
