It is time I did my report...One thing for this day. Twisted -muthaf**kin-Sister can only be described as:

First of all, we managed to get in time to watch Olethrio Rigma perform or, should I say...execute (with regards to a certain boy... ) some of their songs as well as some Sepultura covers (I only managed to get 3 out of 4 from the drums lol) and the classic "So ###### what". The band is punk with some hardcore moments, maybe good but not my cup of tea...Can't stand them.

Next, we were sad to hear that Zyklon couldn't play due to an injury, not actually for the band but because their time got definitely screwed...Greek behaviour. At least they could have made the other bands play longer...

Anyway, we jump to Katatonia which aren't bad per se, but were out of place and time here. They are an atmospheric band, like early Paradise Lost combined with Anathema. Sorry guys, you're good for a small club in midwinter, but it was summer, warm, sun shining...no atmosphere!!

Hohoho, here comes trouble. From the moment Katatonia stepped of the stage, we started seeing what Criminally Insane says "scary guys" going near the stage. They time had come for Anthrax to finally smash the greek grounds, after 20 years, 2 break-ups and a reunion...I can't comment on any band from now on...They are some of the best professionals in the scene, have decades of experience behind them and know how to give shows to remember...

Anyway, Anthrax hit the stage with speed, were in top shape with Belladonna (what a funny name, means "pretty lady" in Italian!!) being over the wall!! The guy has a voice like thunder, can hit high notes, growl, shout... The perfect thrash voice today maybe, after the sad disappearence of legendary Russ Anderson... Anyway, apart from that and Ian Scott's classic goatee (wich was long enough to reach his chest lol) they destroyed us. I was afraid to enter any mosh pits since I didn't want to lose another pair of glasses, but what I saw was maybe scarier than Slayer. The mosh-pits were about 30-40 people in diameter, and after the command by Ian "to form to pits to see which one was larger and more energetic" before Indians they got even larger. People inside were fighting like there was no tomorrow, really funny expressions on their faces!! The band left us with the best impressions, closing with (what else! ) I am the Law and promising to return soon (yeah right...snif...all of them say that... and they never come back...) Belladonna was killer (did I already say that? ) and what i really liked (and disliked) is that unlike other thrash bands, rythm guitar and bass were in low volume while lead guitar and vocals were really loud. Nice for a change.

Going forward to Dio now, he did a classic show, as I said above, guys with so much experience on their shoulders can't give bad shows, but something I found really stupid is that he didn't adjust his playlist to the time given. Maybe they forced him to take some lost time by Zyklon, but when you have a 90 mins set you don't put inside a 8-10 mins drum solo and a 15 mins guitar solo!! GEEZ!! Anyway good thing is that he chose some different songs from the last time he was here (ahhh that live ), including Sunset Superman and faces in the window. Another bad thing is that when you get at 3rd row from the stage people from behind thing it's clever to just squash you like a tomato.

Now...I'll not bother to describe the live of the FN-Sisters...The guy is definitely in the top 5 showmen out there, he's working the crowds like noone else. I don't care if every line was written like a script, i don't care if he believes it or he does it only for the money. He's really good at it. Only bad side was the sound which was ###### at start but a little better later on, doesn't justify though the 30 mins sound check the roadies did!!

The playlist was...classic, I mean which F**KIN song isn't classic by the SMFs?? In the Price i was really , I nearly cried like a baby...

As a last thing, I really liked the large amount of girls in this day, not similar to the first one. Really many girls had come for Dio and the SMFs, which was a good thing... hehe!
