ORA-12546: TNS:permission denied
Cause: User has insufficient privileges to perform the requested operation. Action: Acquire necessary privileges and try again. I have a new EXE installed at Oracle server then F-Secure Firewall pops a window up to the user... they choose Deny & Save choice... Then they get out of the server... [center]ORA-12546: TNS:permission denied[/center] Then they shout for help... and it seems like a dbase errors but it is a human factor error as almost always ! Conclusion: always disable the firewall first, interesting things will get revealed --------------------    c:\ When the going gets tough, the tough get going ... |
