PYRAMIDS IN ANCIENT GREECE
part 3 There is a possibility that the Egyptians were Cretes!!! their dark coloured skin of the two populations it is a phenotypic element, besides the cultural resemblances (cameos, ideographic writing and other). It is considered that Cretes were the Philistians in Palestine, while elsewhere it was reported that they found in the Afghanistan marks of Minoan culture! Cretes had plying the oceans. Of course they had a close relation with the Egyptians who called Cretes: `` Keftiou'' (κεφτιού). In Egyptian texts, Cretes are reported as quisite merchants and artisans. Also, an Egyptian writing reports that the Pharaoh Touthmosis the 3rd (who died in 1448 B.C., extended Egypt up to the river Efratis and he also was a legislator) assigned in Cretes the transportance of timber from Lebanon. In the Minoan Crete, Minos was like the Egyptian Pharaoh. The word "Minos" was a royal title. Minos is reported as king of Knossos. He was the most important king of Crete. He separated the island in 3 regions with capitals, which were, Knossos, Faistos and Malia (in Faistos and Malia reigned his brothers, Radamanthis and Sarpidonas). Minos was legislator who was copied by the Spartan legislator Lycourgos. According to the historian Thucydides, Minos had organised a mighty fleet. In his reign Crete was the ruler of the seas. He conquered a lot of regions as the Cyclades. He also occupied Megara and Athens (obviously the conflict between Minos and Aigeas, the siege of Athens and finally the solution of the siege with the agreement of the dispach of 14 Athenian young persons in Crete for sacrifice to Minotaur are related with this). Minos founded a lot of colonies in which he gave his name. In the M.Asia he turned away the Kares and placed his sons as Kings. The Kares are related with the pre-Hellenic tribe Leleges that was Kares or tribe that were enslaved to them. Minos was killed in Sicily fighting the king Bone who had kidnapped his daughter (with her will). The battle in Sicily shows up to where had reached Cretes. These reported in order to be shown not only the expansion of the Minoan Civilization, that was later incorporated in the culture of Achaians who conquered the island the 15th century B.C, but also the theory that the ancient Egyptians had tribal relationship with the pre-Hellenics populations and in particular with Cretes. The modern Egyptians are Muslim descendants of Saracens (Arabs and generally the Muslim conquerors - in Egypt of Ottomen), Cretes today are incredible genetic degenerated from the conquerors of their island (Achaians in the 15th century B.C, Dorians in 11th century B.C., Romen, pirates, Venetians in 1453, Turks in 1669) and therefore they have no relation with the short Cretes of Minoan era who had height 1.50 m, wide shoulders and narrow waist where they wore waistband that copied later the Achaians. The ancient Greeks were in favour of the metre in the art and they disliked the luxury and the exaggeration in the size of architectural work of the Asian cultures - as the Egyptians and the Babilonians, therefore their pyramids were smaller in size (too small, as a matter of fact) than those of the Asians. Besides, according to the archeologists, the pyramids in Greece were tombs, without excxluding the theories that consider them as altars or astronomical observatories or small fortresses or centres of signals transmission with fire (because if the ancient Greeks used the pyramids as tombs of important persons, then they would write the names of the dead or would give descriptions of those). -------------------- ![]() |
