System of a Down campaign for the recognition of Armenian genocide.

System of a Down begin a campaign in Washington for the recognition of Armenian genocide.
Serj Tankian (the singer) and John Dolmayan (the drummer) will begin this campaign on 24 April.
Their objective is to force the leaders of Congress to recognize the historical moment in which
1,5 million Armenians were sacrificed the period 1915-1923.

That day, System of a Down will link their forces with the Armenian National Committee Of America,
but also the Armenian Youth Federation, in order to protest outside from the Turkish Embassy.

The next day Tankian and Dolmayan will give interviews in the political means of Washington and
then will present the 'Screamers', a new documentary of Carla Garapedian that focuses in the world
campaign of System Of A Down for the recognition of Armenian genocide.

well, their background certainly urges them to act that way... on the other hand many non-believers of the genocide will definitely play down the event stating that they are not open minded...

we have even surpassed the french parliament voting that stated many facts regarding the genocide...

Funny but no one ever protested the genocide of the Native American peoples, and that is a real crime. I do however sympathise with this cause. But this nation did it's own damage, and continues to do so.
